Appearance: Xander's wardrobe consists of a white Newsboy cap with blue Marine insignia on the front of it. He wears a pair of frameless glasses that are perched precariously on the bridge of his nose, a long, white scarf with blue tassles that will drag on the ground and trip Xander if it isn't wrapped around his neck at least twice. On his torso, he wears a simple, navy blue, long sleeve shirt that looks a little too big for him and white, sleeveless puffer vest with a small, shiny blue star charm hanging from the zipper. His pants are the standard issue navy blue with white trimmed pockets, and so are the velcro strapped sandals he wears for shoes. He wears sandals because they are easy to sprout vines from, where as the standard marine boots would just rip.
As far as his Physical appearance goes, Xander is a mid sized guy, not too tall, not too short, perpetually bone thin and has skin the color of butterscotch, and hair the color of shiny jet stones. His eyes are a dull hazel that look as if they have flecks of gold in them, much to his chagrin. His svelte physique is natural, but was given a more distinct nature thanks to the after effects of the Vine Vine fruit he ate, it also gave him an increased flexibility and grace. His hair is a bit of a paradox when it comes to it's appearance. It starts out at the top of his head in somewhat wavy locks, that curl up and fray out as they go down, but it is short, so it all looks curly and wild, another reason he always wears his hat. His face is usually festooned with his usual, dopey smiled of perfectly white teeth, or a small, straight line of silence when it is appropriate

Personality: Xander's personality is that of a naive child. He goes along with what his superiors tell him, and most of what the soldiers under him tell him. He does, however, have a problem with his memory. He will tell you that he will do something, than forget what it was as he is doing it. Such is the reason, some of the soldiers compared working with him to babysitting a child. Although, if crossed, Xander can be quite unpleasant and rude if he hasn't had his nap or if some criminal got away.

Character History: Growing up, Xander was babied and spoiled throughout his life. His parents loved him and didn't want anything to happen to him, seeing as his other siblings all died when they where born. When they weren't around, Xander always had someone to attend to him like the maid, Laura; or the butler, Alex, who loved him as if he was their own son. But all that changed when Xander turned thirteen and decided that he wanted to join the Marines like his friend's brother instead of taking over the family's business, but his parents wouldn't hear of it. Disheartened, but not quite through, Xander continued to pester his parents until they finally agreed to let him go and train to be in the Marines, thinking that he wouldn't make it. Needless to say, he did.
While raiding a town full of wanted pirates with a group of marine troops, Xander stumbled along a treasure chest with an odd, green fruit in it. Not really thinking about it, he ate it and nearly threw up at the taste. That night, after telling his bunkmate what happened. At first, the man didn't believe him, but one day during weapons training, Xander reached for his rifle, and a long, green vine sprouted from his index finger. Panicked, he showed the trainer, where he was redirected to the infirmary where he was questioned about what he had done, eaten and drank. When Xander brought up the topic of the fruit the infirmary keeper asked for a detailed description of the fruit, while he looked through the Devil Fruit encyclopedia. Upon coming across the Vine Vine fruit, he announced that the fruit Xander had eaten was, in fact, a Devil's fruit. Horrified that he would never swim again, Xander was quickly taken to the captain's chambers to figure out what happened. Upon describing what the fruit looked like, the captain told Xander that he had eaten the Vine Vine fruit. Seeing this as a way to get stronger, the boy worked tirelessly to train and get better at using his power. Slowly but surely, he hopes to make his way up the ladder of hierarchy within the Marines, to the position as a Lieutenant, he will taken it upon himself to rid the world of sadness. But as of now, he is a recruit, working petty jobs and doing many chores.

Fighting Style Description: Xander's fighting style mimics that of a ballet dancer in the sense that, his every move is swift, graceful and well planned out. But if he is angered or annoyed, he changes to a rough, rushed style of fighting. Not much different than that of an enraged bull.
Even though at times, it looks like he is completely in control of his powers, there are times when they completely backfire and do more harm than good.

- Club Crush: By swinging a spiked, vine fist around haphazardly, the user can cause intense damage to the enemy, the surrounding buildings, and themselves.
