Lawrence raised his eye at the holy man as he started to spout many words out of his mouth, all of it seemed somewhat nonsense to the marine. It was never Lawrencefs type to judge peoplefs religions, or how they preached, but this guy seemed totally nuts. hAt least he saved mec..h Lawrence sighed in relief as his savior now started to distract the woman. Not only was her temper at its highest, her murderous intent seemed to be at the peak as well. Very stressful woman if he had to say so himself. Using the broken table to support himself, Lawrence got up from the ground while the man now held out two crosses, obviously meant for the two of them to take and keep, if only that would happen. The cracking sound of a something being smashed brought Lawrence a quick shock before he found himself gritting his teeth. How in the world could she do that? This man was of no importance to this incident at all! Did he give her a spanking when she was young or something? The marine felt a twist in his heart as he just watched the lady spew out words that felt like knives. But what shocked Lawrence, was that the man kept his composure, like there was just a barrier around him or something. This manfs actions made Lawrence realize how serious he was in his religion, which, of course, made Lawrence feel bad for him silently mocking what the priest had stood up for.
Then, the arrival of a man carrying what appeared to be the nodachi, the same type of weapon that Lawrence had used had walked in to watch the show? Who was he? Was he here to watch the show? All the marine knew was, this was starting to look bad. hMaybe an escape shall do some good right nowc..h The thought had slowly drowned any other thought the marine had as more and more people appeared onto the stage. One looked like he had way too much to drink for one night, while the other seemed to have been an extreme hater of marriage and holy men. About this time, Lawrence would have definitely tried to crack a joke, even if they were complete strangers to him. A person hating on marriageticked Lawrence off wasnft that much of a deal, but really? This man had only tried to stop a bar fight! Were they her friends or something? The resemblance sure had seemed to connect all of them together at least. Stepping closer, Lawrence found himself gritting his teeth once more, and again, and again, and again. This was his entire fault, and another man was taking insults for it. And to think the marine was thinking of running away! The thought of it had added another feeling to his twisted heart already, the feeling was guilt.
"You see, none of us gives a crap about this voodoo god of yours. It's best to give up trying convert us. Cause we're not gonna change. Not for you. Not for anyone but ourselves. Cause' we're the Black Out pirates." [/i] The word epiratesf made Lawrence pay attention more to what was happening now. hWefrec..so some of these guys are with her tooc.h Thought Lawrence as he now realized what the female was about to do, she was going to kill the priest. Well, it wasnft a prediction, it had just came to him when she had swung her boot and raised her kantana. Now leaping, Lawrence managed to stop her hand that was holding the kantana by kicking her wrist with his foot. It was a medium kick, which was hopefully enough to stop her from trying to swing it again for the time being. What the hell was she thinking? hThat was dangerous eya know?h Though he tried to keep his happy tone, the words came out cold and direct, clearly making it sound more like a gback offh than what it was meant for. True, Lawrence had thought about getting away. True, Lawrence had always placed girls and vacation in front of mostly everything else. But there was no way he would just sit aside and watch someone get told by words such as these. The man didnft deserve it, not one single bit. hYoufre rude.h Voice now louder than before, Lawrence peered at the girlfs face. hIt was my fault that this happened. Donft bring another person into this.h Lawrence, foot still in the air to block the path of her sword, looked around for a weapon, which seemed useless. All the weapons seemed to have been in possession of the people around them, and who knows? They might be in her crew or even her friends. Now redirecting his attention towards the girl, Lawrence opened his mouth one more time, and these lines were all he really needed to say to her. hIt was my policy to raise a hand against women, but I guess thatfll change right now.h
