Loki let out a relieved sigh and beamed a big smile. This man, Marcas, had accepted his invitation into his crew with no protest. Now all he had to do was ask the swordsman and find a ship big enough to carry the three of them. But before he thought on it he did a little dance in his head, he finally had a friend. Someone he could call an ally. "But," he thought, stopping his internal party, "being a friend is a two-way street. You have to listen to what he wants as well as you." After the scolding he let his broad smile soften slightly. He gently removed his support of Marcas and turned his attention back to the ship. He did need to check in on the swordsman, he'd been in there well to long to just let a poor girl out. "What if she's trying to thank him in vulgar ways?!" He yelled aloud, horrified at the very prospect of his future nakama acting in such a sinful way. It was then that a woman came running out of the ship, screaming. She ran at him and him and stopped before him. She stopped yelling and breathed heavily as she started to say. "The man in there... heehee... he's a pirate and planning on taking our villages supplies... heehee... you two must help me rally the villagers so that we can stop him."
Loki grinned as if her news were a funny joke. "Well, the funny thing is, were pirates as well."He said, gesturing to himself and Marcas. She started to scream again but he used one arm to hold her still and the other to cover her mouth. He listened to her muffled screams and pulled his hand away when she finally ran out of breath. "Listen, see those two men in wearing the weird rabbit ears." He said, pointing at the two bloodied bodies of the captains, her eyes widened slightly. "Those guys are big shot pirates with bounties. I might need the ship but if your village turned those men into the marines then you would get several million beli each. Well enough to pay for your supplies they took, now please go and tell the villagers you found the pirates defeated by the Tenshi Pirates, we'll be gone by then. Understand?" She nodded slightly, as if in a haze, and he released her. She looked at him and Marcas, then back at the ship where Takeshi was. Then she started running toward the village, not daring to turn back.
"Darn girl can't even realize we were the ones who saved her village from the pirates." He muttered, talking to himself. He turned toward Takeshi, who had come out of the ship approaching one of the captains. "Yo, large sword dude!" He yelled, waving at Takeshi as he started walking toward him. When he finally got to him he smiled and casually remarked. "Looks like you got yourself a ship..." He stopped waiting for Takeshi to fill in the gap of his name. "I just so happen to be captain of the Tenshi Pirates, Tak. I already got Marcas," he pointed toward his injured first mate, "to join the crew and since I feel generous I have decided to extend to you the offer of joining my crew at merely the price of one vessel of your choice." He smiled jokingly at Takeshi. He had already done this once and managed to master his nerves long enough to extend his offer to Takeshi in the form of a joke.
