The cheers done and the food almost calling to be eaten, as John sipped his wine and placed it down on the table, it appeared Ellie was happy with the prominent agreement, he wasn't sure how many crew members she had but by process of elimination it was safe to say he was the first to be setting foot upon her ship, which was a good thing since he accidentally put a large hole in his when he tried to scare off a wasp with his staff and hit the side of the hull.
John smiled, it was a bit comical that she let out a groan to the pure taste of food, a mini foodgasm to say the least, as he placed a piece of chicken into his mouth, the citric lemon combining with the sweetness of the wine and all the herbs were a perfect blend together, she made a good point, anyone with a sense of taste could see why this place was famous.
After several more forkfuls of food John smirked at Ellie with a chance to do some form of piracy."How fast do you think we could get to your ship and out of here?"
He was referring skipping the bill in the famous restaurant that would beat up pirates if they caused trouble.

Ok, so one crewman down, another three more to go. Eri wanted at least five before she set out into grandline, otherwise she would probably not survive to say in the least. She had a first crew mate who was also a navigator, a cook and a doctor. Those three things were essential as Eri was pretty sure she had no idea how to get anywhere so that was a navigator, a cook to eat and a doctor for the injured. Those were what Eri saw in her crew anyway.
When they both began to eat, she watched as John ate the chicken and smiled. She could only smile back, now captain and first mate eating happily away at the floating restaurant.
When John spoke again, Eri felt like nearly reaching over and kissing the man. He had the right idea at the moment and Eri could merely grin and reply with a soft whisper, "only if you can keep up." She added with a wink though, "think you can?"
Placing her fork down on her plate with a small clink, smiling cheekily at John before standing up inconspicuously, she waited for John to follow suit before winking at him and walking quietly to the front door, glad to see that the waiter who was usually manning the door had left to take orders. As soon as she stepped over the thresh hold she began to sprint for it, hearing the sound of people yelling inside. Laughing loudly she quickly jumped over the side of the small boat which she had called her own and yelled out, "hurry up John!"

It would be nice to have company on the seas, he did intend to join a crew and set sail around the world as many times as he could to accomplish his dream, even if he was nothing but a head in a jar by the end of it, although the less injuries the better.
John smirked as they both nonchalantly and subtly headed towards the exit of the floating restaurant, his only stop was to pluck a wrapped item as tall as he was from the umbrella stand, he blinked when his new captain made a sudden dash for it causing him to laugh as he followed suit heading away from the increasing noise from within the Baratie.
He watched as she leapt into a small boat, the words for him to hurry as he made a sudden dash to unhooking the rope that held the getaway ship to the dock and jumping into the ship, only to spin in mid air to throw a knife with a piece of paper attached reading ' We'll pay you when we find some treasure.'
As John landed with a thump onto the boat, they had already gotten away the breeze had caught the sails easily and pulled them to a safe distance from the angry cooks, John only sat up to spot his knife being thrown back at him and landing in the water several yards from the ship. "Well captain, it appears we've just gained you some notoriety in East Blue."
