Shikoba had finally found land again, his supplies was diminisshing at a worrying rate and he needed to restock He also needed some more information about the seas he was in. If he ever wanted to get out of here he probably needed some maps too, He was pretty sure that he could read the maps down here. They shouldn't be much different from the ones he used to draw. He'd seen a village from Wayra's back and he would probably should be able to get something useful from there.
The waves were hitting the shore and the sun was shining down. The sea was surprisingly peaceful, barely no wind was blwing and the sea was as good as cloudless. He was used to the erratic weather patterns of the grand line, When you live ontop of a cloud it's not hard not to start noticing the weather patterns. It was somewhat boring since he usually could amuse himself with trying to predict the weather. Down here every weather change seemed to happen in slow motion. It was quite relaxing actually but he as slowly growing impatient Wayra was relaxing next to him, Eyes closed. The large Southbird wasn't quite asleep, Shikoba knew that once he fell asleep he would start snoring. He wasn't sure exactly how a bird could snor but Wayra somehow managed to do it. He looked out over the sea's shiny surface and a plan of beating of his boredom slowly started to form in his head.
Shikoba wasn't really sure if this was such a good idea. He was still standing on the beach, thinking through his plan one last time. His last plan had ended in disaster. It wasn't much of a plan, some lunatic had started firing bullets into the air and Shikoba had gotten caught up in the moment and they may have burned down a few buildings and killed some people but if everything goes as he planned no one should lose their lives today as long as he got what he wanted no unneccesary blood would be spilled.
He repeated the plan again in his head. He would probably be able to make it into the village without attracting too much attention, maybe a few stares. He could handle that. He did have a bounty on his head though, He wasn't quite sure how much he was worth but hopefully his last little stunt hadn't attracted too much attention. As long as he could make it too the village without being pinned to the ground while somebody called the marines he should be fine.
As soon as he was inside then it was just the matter to get noticed, It may sound strange but after all he wanted the whole village to notice him. The next part of his plan was basicly, "Give me all your stuff or else I'll burn down your house!" Well, He was certainly not a tactician but the premise was simple enough to work. If you disobeyed say bye to your house, Ofcourse he needed to set an example but he could prbably just incinerate a nearby tree. he knew that he'd to put on a quite a show for this to be convincing but he'd pretty much been acting since he got here so he should be fine or he atleast he hoped so. He always had Wayra as a quick getaway if anything turned ugly.
He gently woke up Wayra ".. So don't worry, all you have to do is to stand behind me and look imposing. I'll protect you." Shikoba said to the Southbird, he tried to put it as gently as possible. Shikoba knew that there was a slight chance of the villagers fighting back but he didn't want to scare Wayra. "So, are you with me?" he asked and smiled, The Southbird hesitated. Wayra knew that Shikoba trusted him and he didn't have to do that much just stand there. He nodded with a resitant "Chooo" making sure that Shikoba knew that he didn't like this.
Shikoba started to make his way towards the village with Wayra at his heels. With him he had a big piece of cloth which he could carry his stolen goods in. He could imagine it would be quite awkward if he showed p without anything to transport the goods in. While he walked he started to think of eveything that could go wrong, someone could call he marines, There could be a good fighter in the village, marins could be in the village or worst of all, He wold not been taken seriously and laughed at. He was sure he coud handle a fight pretty well. He had tools and weapons that was hard to counter without dials or devil fruits, something he doubted these villagers had. He looked back at Wayra, The southbird was hesitantly looking back at the beach, It was clear that he didn't want to be here. "Don't worry buddy, We'll get through this." Shikoba said, There was no turning back now he thought as the first buildings of the village was visible near the horizon.
[Just FYI Shikoba's targeting Cocoyashi village since it wasn't brought up in the post]
