The sun shined bright onto the ship as it rocked back and forth, the crew of the ship ran back and forth as a few kept yelling about a island coming up, and getting ready to dock. Jackie sat behind a barrel in the pantry, hiding from people and nibbling on some food, he didn't want people to see him although they knew he was there but just didn't bother him. The boat docked at as people started walking all around, a man stopped next to the barrel while smoking a cigar "Hey kid, were docked at Baterilla island...where is my payment?" Jackie ignored the man and continued to eat, the man removed the cigar from his mouth and slightly moved his head towards Jackie, "Are you ignoring me?! I will Ki...." The man fell back with a card in his throat. Standing up Jackie smirked as he grabbed the card in the mans neck that had a figure of a Joker, Walking up the stairs the crew was either sitting around laughing and talking or sleep.

Walking down the stairs Jackie foot touched the dock as he took in a deep breath, his hair flowed in the wind he started walking towards town waiting to see what this town has to offer him, hoping for some good food and good drinks, and possibly kill someone here and there. Walking by one of the crew members he stopped him "I hope we didn't scare you too much kid" Jackie smirked "Appreciate the ride, tell the captain I owe him one" The crew member nodded as he continued on about his way. Getting into town taking in the whole scene some kids were playing, the adults on the other hand seemed down, a few even went back into their homes. Marines walked by laughing among one another, Jackie put his head down so none of them would notice him.

Quickly walking to the bar he quickly sits down at the closes empty table he saw, looking around a few marines sat drinking while the people who worked in the bar seemed scared to do anything. A waitress walked over to the table bringing beers, and burgers, a marine slapped her behind she yelped and smiled walking towards Jackie. "Your new here...how may I help you?" She said with a smile on her face as if she was pleased to serve someone beside a Marine. "Th..Those guys are jerks....I can take care of them for you." He said while looking down at the table.She giggled "They tax us every week and if we can't pay either death, slavery, or other deeds." Jackie's eyes slowly glazed at the Marines. "I'll help you by starting with them" he said as he lifted his head, and sliding his hair back. He stood and leaned to the woman "Go hide in the back with everyone, this will get messy" She looked back at him and ran towards the bartender.

Jackie stumbled into a table, the Marines looked at him and laughed getting to his feet Jackie grabbed a handle on his belt and whipped it out with a blink of a eye. The men sat laughing at the odd looking blade while one stayed silent, "hey whats wrong? never seen a blade as ugly as that Hahaha" One marine said to the silent one patting him on the back only to see his head fall off. Jumping back the Marines looked at Jackie, one tried to pull his sword only being met with his hand being chopped off. Jackie whipped his blade lunging it at the other Marine, to avoid the attack he jumped out the window. Standing at the window Jackie wrapped the blade around his waist, putting his head down and leaving the bar.

Standing at the window Jackie looked back towards the bartender, nodding his head in acknowledgement while looking at the two bodies on the floor. The waitress was shocked at the sight she saw, wanting to scream she held it in the sight before her was horrific. Walking to Jackie and handed him a bag, Jackie's head was facing the ground looking at the blood that had hit his shoes grasping the bag from the waitress's hand, only to also feel a hug come from her. "Thank you, we will not reveal your identity to the Marines" She said burying her face into his chest. Jackie didn't know how to react to a woman hugging him, hasn't happened since he ran away from home and the life as a Marine. "They will come and torture you all for answers" Jackie said with soft spoken tone.

The Bartender lifted a cup to his mouth and took a drink, "We protect our own here kid, and your close enough to our own, now get out of here before they return" He said pouring himself another drink.Jackie pulled away from the waitress and made his way out the bar, walking next to the bar hiding behind a crates they had in a alley. Yelling came from the town as a few Marines came into the bar, a higher up yelled at the bartender and waitress seeing the bodies on their floor. "Who did this!?" the Marine demanded, "They just fell over like that" the bartender said while cleaning a glass. The Marine was not pleased , while the three other lower ranked marine soldiers looked around the bar to find evidents.

"You dare lie to me? I will kill you both if you don't tell who did this!" The Marine said slamming his fist onto the bar counter, slightly cracking the counter. The Bartender looked at him without the slightest bit of emotion, "A Short person sliced them up" he said making a emotionless face. The Marine got annoyed, the waitress walked out from the back holding a tray of drinks for the Marines. Quickly the higher ranking Marine grabbed the waitress's neck, lifting her up as she tried to gasp for air. "So who killed my Marines again?" the higher up asked, the bartender watched him choke the waitress he didn't want her dead for one mans actions. "Ok ok, just don't hurt her" he pleaded. The Higher up Marine laughed "I didn't want my Marines to die, but there they are" he said as it seemed the life from the woman was diminishing.

A card suddenly got stuck into the Higher ranking Marine's hand "what the?!" he said as he looked at it dripping with some kind of liquid, his hand dropped the waitress. Falling to the ground she quickly started gasping for air, the bartender ran to her and quickly pulled her away. The other Marines ran to the higher up "Sir are you alright?" one asked looking at the razor sharp card in his hand. The Marine glared at the card, that has a Diamond on it "I can't move" he said The marines grabbed the higher up and tried to carry him outside. Jackie stood outside in front of the doors of the bar with his head down "He is poisoned, he's motor and body functions have stopped working, and soon his heart will stop pumping...but I can help him" The marines looked at one another "how the hell do you know whats wrong with him?" they demanded Jackie started to chuckle,"Cause I did it, now I believe he has something of mines."

Staring at the man before them Jackie kept his head down with his hands behind his back, the marines wanted to get their higher ranking officer to the medic but this man stood before them that claimed to have a antidote. "what is it that you want?" one Marine said, Jackie stood continueing to keep his head down, with quick swing of his hands the Marines holding the Higher up ended up with the razor cards into their skulls. Falling to the ground Jackie leaned over and retrieved his cards back, along with taking what beli they had on their bodies. Putting the beli in his pocket Jackie sighed whipping the blood on their cloths, turning around bodies flew towards Jackie, before he can react he was bombarded with Marine Soldiers holding him down. Struggling to get free Jackie couldn't get free from all the Marines on him, he felt some of them grab his hands and cuff them, along with taking demon away from him. Picking him up the Marines threw Jackie in the back trailer. Sitting down the trailer started to move his hands cuffed behind him he couldn't try to fight his way out, but he figured they was taking him to a place where he may want to be.

Jackie curled up in a corner keeping his head down, he felt as if there could be a possibility he may die here today. Suddenly the trailer stopped Marines walked to the door and opened it, a couple jumped in and held Jackie against the ground binding his legs and blindfolding him. They pulled him out the Trailer and pulled him along the ground, Jackie didn't refuse he angled himself so his face hits the ground to make his blindfold move slightly. Getting it caught a a sharp rock he cut his cheek and part of the blindfold, taking this chance he witnessed a huge mansion with soldiers outside, patrolling and guarding the entrance, looking at the Marine behind him held his bag and his weapon Demon. Entering a door Jackie didn't do anything that would cause him more trouble, fingers touched his blindfold and was ripped off his face and thrown into a cell being locked behind him. Standing up he looked around the two Marines stood outside his cell, Walking to a corner Jackie wrapped his arms around his legs and put his head on his knees, as if he was giving up.

Hours passed as a Marine came by with food, the other two welcomed him opening the gate for him. He threw the food on the floor and laughed, Jackie's head lifted slightly seeing the food on the floor, he quickly crawled to the bread that laid next to what looked like peas. Grabbing it Jackie quickly took a bite out of it savoring the taste, the Marine looked at him and laughed "Thats right dog eat it HAHA." Suddenly the bread was placed on the floor, "I had a coin with me, where is it?" The Marine looked at him and laughed "We got somewhere around here, but you'll never get it back HAHAHA."

Night came across the town in the mansion Marines laughed while doing their duties, two Marines still stood guard at the cell where Jackie was held, talking casually to one another They didn't seem to worried about Jackie even if he killed a few of their companions. Jackie kept replaying what the one marine saying he will never get his grandfathers coin back, that coin kept Jackie sane a majority of the time, with each replay Jackie's anger rose ever so slightly. Sitting in the corner his head raised glaring at the two guarding the cell, "Oh yeah hows your little girl doing?" One marine said "She is great, the wife said she is already saying Da-Da and walking hehe" The other marine replied with a big grin on his face, "Thats great! When we get off duty you all should come by for din...gah!" A arm reached around the bars and grappled the Marine around his neck squeezing tight, as he struggled to get free Jackie didn't budge, his eyes glared at the other man as if he was a prey he had been stalking.

"Release me" Jackie said still choking the marine and glaring at the other, shaking the Marine reached for his keys and opened the cell. "n...now let him go!" The marine demanded, Jackie nodded a subtle snap noise went off as the Marine fell to the ground lifeless, The other marine watched in horror, as Jackie slowly walked towards him as he backed up to the alarm. Suddenly he lunged for the alarm, a hand grabbed the back of his shirt and away from the alarm. A fist struck his stomach as he fell over clutching his stomach, "Please I have a little girl...please don't kill me" Jackie stood over the man as he pleaded for his life. "I'll be sure to send them to you in the after life" Jackie said with a smirk on his face, lifting his foot and crushing the man's head. Taking in a deep breath grabbing a sword off the guy he just killed Jackie made his way to the door, opening it and walking out Marines stood in the room looking at him, and him back at them. "I want my coin" he stated. The Marines went for their guns, as others grabbed their blades, and a few other tried to flee, Jackie lunged at the ones with the guns slicing hands off or stabbing them, one managed to shoot Jackie in the back, throwing the sword at the man somehow managing to have it impale his head.

Grabbing another blade as a few more Marines all attacked him at once, the wound on his back was getting to him his speed was lowered by a bit, Blocking attacks one marine decided to do a sneak attack from behind slightly moving out the way his fellow Marines stabbed him, taking that opportunity Jackie slashed at all of them. Leaning against a wall, taking deep breaths one marine managed to live slowly crawling to the door a blade dripping of blood stopped him. "Where is my weapons and equipment and my COIN!" Jackie demanded, the Marine pointed to a chest next to the fireplace "The c...coin the Lieutenant has it." Walking to the chest, and slowly opening it Jackie found Demon, his cards, and other items, equiping them Jackie walked to another door. The marine laid awaiting help or death, grabbing a gun jackie shot the man to put him out of his misery knowing that help will not come for him. Walking through the door lead to come hallway it seemed so bright, blood dripped off Jackie as he walked up the stairs leading to some giant doors. Pushing on the doors revealed a Giant ballroom, Filled with people in classy dresses, suits, Marine uniforms, Jackie scanned the room "I'm looking for the Lieutenant that has my coin" he said in a demanding tone.

A Clapping sound echoed in the silence, and whispers in the room a tall man in a fancy Marine uniform appeared from the crowd and stood before Jackie. "I assume your the man who killed half of the military force here in the town?" The man said without a care in the world. "Do you have..." "your coin? why yes I do right here" The Marine interrupted Jackie revealing the coin he took out his pocket. Jackie saw what he needed grasping Demon and whipping it out The Lieutenant snapped his fingers as Marines appeared on the balcony surrounding the Ballroom with guns pointed at Jackie. "You see my dear killer, I always win, and your coin is a great compensation for those men you killed" the Lieutenant said with a smile on his face holding the coin tight his in right hand, In a instant a card was thrown slicing off the Lieutenant's right balled hand clean off. The Marines on the balcony started firing at jackie. Running through the crowds of fancy looking people they was being slaughtered, the lieutenant fell to his knees in shock, grabbing his stub, and looking at the fist on the floor.

Running around the room, the surviving people rushed to the door to escape death by the Marines or by the crazed man, grabbing his razor cards and sliding under a table, knowing it would only buy him a few seconds. Jackie tried to take a peek at how many Marines there were, and how long it takes for them to reload and continue shooting. Everytime his head peeked out marines shot their guns, getting onto his back Jackie placed his feet on the table and thrusted it upwards to cause confusion. That split second gave him enough times to throw a couple cards at a few Marines, grasping Demon he whipped his sword whip to a rail on the balcony to throw himself up there.

Those on the side he was on tried to shoot their guns but hesitated since their fellow marines was in the way, whipping the sword and running towards them one marine fell after another. The Marines on the other side continued to shoot, towards jackie killing the last one on his side cracking Demon against the floor Jackie ran towards the other side, The marines was relentless continuing to fire their guns. A bullet hit Jackie and he fell over and hit a wall the gun shot wound in his back and now this one in his thigh burned, The marines stopped firing seeing the man had stopped moving.

One Marine took a step towards Jackie, but nothing happened taking another and still nothing happened, he started to get bold and walked to him and stood over the body. Using his foot to turn the body over the whip sword Demon wrapped around his neck, quickly getting up and behind the Marine the other continued to fire. Grabbing the Marines gun Jackie fired back, he was experienced in guns but hated them but if he just had to use one then he would. The Marine he was using as a shield proved useful as there was one more Marine lefted to kill, pulling back on Demon's handle the body of the Marine spun as Jackie kicked the Marine towards the other, making him fall over. As in if slow motion Demon's tip bounced off the floor, hitting the ceiling, and heading right towards the last Marine. With only the sound of a scream to instantly vanish, that confirmed the kill for Jackie, looking down at the floor the Lieutenant was gone and so was the hand, but a trail of blood was there. Jumping down to the floor Jackie followed the trail, he didn't expect to see the man passed out on the bttom of the stairs, walking to him he stopped and looked around, just in case any surprises may pop up.

Leaning down Jackie patted the Lieutenant to feel for his hand, surely enough he felt the hand in his pocket, reaching in only to pull out the severed fist which his grandfathers coin was still inside. Exhaling Jackie wrapped demon around his waist and put his head down, as if his personality changed back into his coward self. Sitting down next to the Lieutenant his thigh and back was in pain gritting his teeth, he mustered the strength to stand limping his way to the exit he stopped. Grasping Demon he whipped it to some lights sparks shot up from each light he hit, till finally one spark hit some cloth sparking a fire. Wrapping Demon around his waist once again Jackie started limping his way back to town only to pass out on the road.

Awakening to Birds chirping outside his window, Jackie woke up with bandages over his torso, thigh, and cheek. Seeing his shirt on a table next to him, he put it on sliding out of the bed he was in he tried to stand up, with one hand against a wall to hold himself up he slowly made his way to the door. Looking around as the house appeared to be empty, laughter and music sounded as if it was coming from outside, walking to the house door. The towns people was celebrating the waitress ran and hugged Jackie "Thank you so much!" she said with happiness in her eyes, Jackie looked at her as if he didn't know what she was talking about "I just wanted my coin back, thats all" he said sitting down on a chair she had on her porch. She smiled and went into the house, Jackie stayed watching the people happy looking at them with resentment he closed his eyes, till he heard the waitress's voice "Here is a drink for you" she said handing him the cup. Nodding Jackie took a sip of the drink, it was a strong fruity flavor, with a hint of mint and alchol "Thank you" he said as he continued to look at the party.

Later in the day Jackie grabbed his belongings and made his way to the docks, still recovering but feeling he didn't want to stay or he would kill them out of annoyance. Leaving a note that just said "Catch you later" for the waitress Jackie was satisfied with his leaving. Meeting a man about to depart allowing him to board after knowing what he did for the city the man allowed Jackie to ride for free, Making his way to the pantry Jackie decided to hide in a corner and start munching on food near by.
