Appearance: Vega is a tall and lean person. His chin mostly reaches above the forehead of an average length man. Vega has an athletic build with slender muscles and thus he has a good endurance. Small marks are scattered across his skin, revealing his rather adventurous youth. Remains of small fights, like scratches and bruises, have left small, almost unnoticeable, marks on his body. His long hair is brown and always kept in a tail. On his chin is a braided goatee. For clothing he wears a velvet purple shirt with long sleeves that reaches his wrists. A white waistcoat over the purple shirt further decorates his chest. His black plants cover his legs entirely and end in his knee-high white leather boots. White leather gloves cover his hands and his lower arm. Vega's katana hangs by his left side. He is always seen with his opium pipe in his possession

Personality: Refusing to follow any law, Vega has his own code of conduct. Because of this the authorities call him a criminal but this is just a point of view. For crimes, as murder and stealing, are beneath him and Vega loathes such kinds of persons. Killing or stealing from defenseless persons is for lowlifes and is absolutely banned in Vega's ethics.
In combat, Vega tries to think before acting, and uses the same courtesy and politeness he would on any stranger to a foe. He has principles of honor, and thinks scum of those without it. When it comes to plans of attack, his are always thought out and calculated, even hypothetically tested in his head before he tries them. But it is very unlikely Vega would risk his life for another person, since he is rather egocentric.
Besides all that Vege does enjoy a joke or two and has a good sense of humor. He might be a good conversation partner but there will still be some kind of barrier between him and the other.

Character History: Born in North Blue Vega was the son of a librarian. During his childhood life he got everything he needed and a very good education. Starting from a very young age he was educated in history, mathematics, physics and philosophy. Those where the things his father thought as the most important to succeed in life. Even though it appeared young Vega was quite an intellectual child, he was also interested in weaponry. At the age of eleven he practiced swords play in a close by dojo and started to spend more and more time with the sword then with his books.
Vega was schooled very well but he knew the life of a scholar like his father was nothing for him. Swords had become his apssion, his reason to life. After hours of discussion with his father, the old man was finally swayed to allow his son to become an apprentice swordsmith. Years passed by and Vega didn't regret a single day. He learned how to forge blades. At first under supervision but after two years Vega started to forge simple weapons on his own. But still, after all those years, stories from seas far away and the Grand Line made him ponder about travelling.
Eventually Vega made up his mind and decided to leave his hometown and sail the seas. Now he is travelling around, doing what he thinks is best at the moment.

Techniques:
- Crashing Waterfall: Vega falls straight forward, seeming he has tripped. But this a feint and an acceleration boost. Vega uses the speed when falling down, to launch himself to the enemy at the last moment and attack with his sword.
Violent Current: When attacking with the sword Vega flicks his wrists which changes the angle of the incoming strike, creating a fake strike that covers up the real impact point.
Changing Streams: Vega slices at his opponent but at the last moment, he flips his body so it comes side-ways towards the enemy. Then his arm with the sword stretches and makes a flip of 180°. This makes the slice attack into a spinning thrust at the last moment.
