Hello and welcome to 'We Are On A Cruise'. Like all roleplay forums, we have rules, and we only ask that you take them into consideration and avoid breaking any rules. Now I don't want to start getting authoritarian here, but if rules are broken then, depending on the level, we have the right to take action.
General Rules
1. When signing up. All characters are to be roleplayed on separate accounts.
2. Show respect to other members and staff. Constructive criticism, fair enough. Petty insults, NO! But besides that, don't start being disrespectful to each other in public. Take it up via PM or just report it to staff.
3. No flaming or spamming. And by this I mean constant harassing messages to individuals or a group. Or constant messages with little meaning or relevance to the subject.
4. Remember this is a PG 15 board. Relationships are allows but do keep it PG 15. Otherwise, feel free to take anything beyond that off the forum and go and do it by PM or something.
5. Never give out your password or specific personal information. We don't want it and staff will never ask for it.
Roleplay Rules
1. No spamming or flaming. See general Rule 2.
2. No god moding, powerplaying or Mary sueing. And by this I mean making the perfect character that simply cannot be beaten. Or controlling other peoples characters and their actions. That also includes auto-hitting.
3. To a degree, NPC's are allowed to be controlled by the player. So long as it is their reasonable actions. Just remember who you are really roleplaying as.
4. All roleplaying levels are allowed. However we expect all roleplays to be at least one paragraph long. A paragraph, defined by us, is around 7-9 sentences. We frown upon any less than that. And one liners are definitely not allowed.
5. No killing or controlling another person's character without their permission. NPC characters are ok but do not go crazy.
6. When making a thread use [Open] to mean that anyone is allowed to join. if you want it to be private then use [The names of individuals or groups you want in your rp].
7. Try and keep a posting order, unless the creator chooses otherwise. When in order, avoid skipping other members. If you feel necessary, you may skip a person who has not posted, within a reasonable waiting time (2-3 days?)
8. Multi-threading is allowed. But roleplaying on multiple threads have to be, in a relevant way, linked to your character's past threads. This means that you have to take into account your character's timeline and avoid plot holes.
Example: Your character is in 2 threads. In one thread he/she joines a crew. Now you have to sensibly decide at what moment in time does the other thread take place. If it take splace after your character joined a crew on the other thread, then your character is in that crew from the previous thread.
Your character can be in no more than 3 threads. If you want to join more then finish the threads you are on. This however, excludes mission threads.
9. STAY ACTIVE!!! Countless forums have collapsed due to the lack of activity. So do be sure to come on at least once a week. Activity checks will be held every month.
10. No Will of D characters or canons please.
11. New techniques can be learned through roleplay training. Mark training threads with [Training] and [The name of the person who is joining you] if you want someone to join your training.
12. You may have more than one account to roleplay with. However, your characters are not permitted to join the same crew/division ororganisation as their other characters are within.
13. As of now Haoshoku Haki will not be allowed. All haki users will have to start out with fairly weak haki and have it developed as they progress with experience, similar to techniques.
Well now that is done guys. Happy roleplaying!
